The Jakarta Provincial Government through Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (PPKUKM) Agency, is once again holding the 28th Business Matching for Improving the Use of Local Products (P3DN) at MH Thamrin Multipurpose Room, Grha Ali Sadikin Building, Jakarta City Hall, from November 10 to 13, 2025
"Let's be economic heroes by choosing and using Indonesian-made products,"
Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Secretary, Nurhidayat, said this event serves as a platform for business actors and government institutions to strengthen their synergy in using local products, while also commemorating Heroes Day on November 10 with the spirit of striving to build the nation's economic independence.
JMFW Transactions Targeted to Reach Rp 163 Billion"Our struggle today is to strengthen the national industry and ensure local products take the lead in our own country," he asserted on Monday (11/10).
He explained that although the world is facing global economic pressures due to slowing growth, geopolitical conflicts, rising energy prices, and disruptions in the food supply chain, the economies of Indonesia and Jakarta continue to show resilience.
According to Nurhidayat, these positive achievements show the strength of domestic consumption and the increased use of local products.
Therefore, the P3DN program is considered highly relevant not only as an administrative policy but also as a national strategy to maintain economic independence.
“By prioritizing domestic products in the procurement of goods and services, we boost national production, absorb local labor, and reduce dependence on imports,” he explained.
He added that until now, the Jakarta Provincial Government has realized domestic product purchases worth Rp27.189 trillion, or 70.98 percent of the total commitment of Rp38.29 trillion in the 2025 general procurement plan.
“This achievement encourages us to reach the 80 to 100 percent target,” he stated.
Besides business matching, his side also promote the empowerment of cooperatives and MSMEs. This year, they have facilitated the establishment of legal entities for 45 cooperatives out of a target of 80, located in schools and low-cost rental apartments (rusunawa).
Nurhidayat hopes these cooperatives can serve as legal platforms for residents to develop their business potential based on the principle of mutual cooperation.
He encouraged all regional apparatuses, entrepreneurs, and the public to embrace the spirit of heroism by supporting local products.
"Let's be economic heroes by choosing and using Indonesian-made products in our daily lives," he closed.
